We have been on the Rocky Mountaineer Train from Calgary to Vancouver for 2 days and saw a Big Horn in the Silver Sands RV Park in Sicamous, BC. We also saw one (or it may have been a Big Country) in the Cariboo RV Park in Burnaby, BC.
And on another note, if you ever geta chance to ride on the Rocky Mountaineer, do it. A fabulous trip, great food, great people and a commentary that will knock your socks off.

We did that trip about 5 years ago. I agree totally, 5 star service great food, fabulous scenery. We rode from Vancouver to Calgary and then rented a car to drive north through the rockies for a couple of days. Wish we had more time on that trip. When we retire, we plan to go back. :)

On Thursday we were heading south on highway 95 from Radium to Cranbrook BC and passed a Big Horn heading north. Were any of you traveling in British Columbia in the past week?
We had been staying at the Canyon Campground in Radium along with our friends who have a Sundance. Nice week, but a little cool. Of course we stayed nice and cosy in our trailer and the hotsprings were great. :)
Only problem we had was with our Olevia tv going black. Of course we are just a few days off warranty. Oh well, we will buy something that we are happy with now.
Fall is upon us and winter will be here, so for this rest of this year we are home and I now have to get the trailer ready for hibernation. :(

Saw a Cyclone today at about noon eastbound on Hwy 1 just before the Port Mann bridge in Coquitlam, BC. BC Plates, towed with a chevy crew cab, couldn't get close enough to see more :) No windows on the doors of the trailer which we thought was odd.

On Monday, September 22nd, we pass thru that area going from Post Falls ID to home. Along 95 from the border & then eastbound on 3.

EH!
