slide adjustment advice

Hi everyone,
We have a BH 3670 (2010) and I have been reading the slide adjustment manual and still have a few questions. The refer slide near the trailer is very tight on the top--to a point the rubber seal will not come out when opening and I usually go up and pull hard to get it out for water protection. In reading, the only adjustment I see for up/down is at the outside end of the slide--will this help for the trailer side?? (to drop it down a 1/2 " or so). Am I missing something and is there some type of adjustment for the slide at the trailer edge? Also, if I drop it down at the end, how much and should I be concerned about it going down so far as not to be level??
Any help is appreciated.

It's been a while since I've adjusted a slide, but before you try to lower it take a look at the bottom first.
If you want it to go down it has to have somewhere to go.
What you are describing about the seal is a common occurrence.

Mine do that, as well. I just use an awning rod to hook under the seals and pull them out. Others have glued trim pieces on to help manipulate the seals better. Slide toppers keep water off the top of the slides, anyways, so it's not a big deal for me.

Thanks,
cookie, I will check about having room. I was just wanting to try something rather than going onto the roof each time we move.
Any other suggestions are welcomed.
