Slide Needs Help to Start

Hey gang, first Heartland, bought used love it so far. Problem: electric slide needs help on occasion to begin extending but not retracting. I'm thinking motor is just weak at that spot like a weak starter. This is my first 5th wheel with electric slides not hydraulic.

Make sure you have a healthy fully charged battery.

Every few cycles I'll have to bump it a turn or 2 with the emergency crank

That does sound a bit like a motor problem.

Not much I can do now with the cold, but I'll have to deal with it sometime.
