I only now got around to fixing the slide.
Question: Trying without the glue applied to the strip yet: when I move the strip under the slide between the rubber seal and the slide bottom, the strip goes only about 2 inches or so in. Then there is at least another foot or so sticking out on the other (out)side of the slide. Is that OK? Shouldn't the strip go as far as between roller and slide? If so does the slide need to be cricked up then?
