Spending the week exploring Glacier National Park, MT

We left the WA Rally and arrived today at Mt. Meadow RV Park in Hungry Horse MT, just outside of Glacier National Park and plan to spend the week checking out Glacier. Here is a pic of our site.

Very Nice! We spent a week in Kalispell, MT quite awhile back. We were Motorcycle camping. That was a fantastic trip.

The drive from Wasington here was beautiful and scenic. Flathead lake is simply amazing!!

While you are in the area take the time to go see Bowman Lake just north of the "Road to the Sun".

Any other "must see" places here in or around Glacier? This is our first time here. We are doing a sunset Red Bus tour tomorrow evening. Or any places to avoid or not waste our time going to?

while your in the area you should see Thompson lakes, you could stay a logon state park on the lake. the lakes are located on highway #2 on the way to Libby

Take lots of pictures so we know what to see when we eventually get to go there. We didn't have time last year while at Yellowstone so we will be making another trip someday. Wish we could be with you guys right now. The smoke has shifted directions and is now headed our way.

Beautiful!

We managed to escape WA today through some of the least pretty parts of it. Naturally they opened 97 with pilot cars about half an hour before we crossed at Biggs Jct. wish we could have seen Glacier scenery instead.

Here is a few more from yesterday. We have seen Moose, Bear, Big Horn Rams, Mt. Goats, and all sorts of other critters. The scenery is so amazing that these pictures and words do not give it justice!
