I think that the can amplifies the sound.

This brand new pump above in this thread gave us a F-05 code a few days ago, so I then stripped her down I see that the waste water migrates into the motor housing because of I think whatever the bearing is made of in the plate breaks up.
I found like a thick sort of carbon looking material in there.
The impeller is moulded on that shaft and could not pull it off without breaking it, I was looking to see if was possible to insert a o seal some how but I repeat my self.
Put her all together and pumps water like the dickens.
The motor is back in machine ...and now is working ok...I suppose until the motor housing fills up with water. Just got the washer sitting in closet,to see how she performs over the next few days.
What do you reckon?
