Spotting Heartland rigs

We see BigHorns just about everywhere we go. :) There's one here in Cage's Bend CG in TN. We saw one in each the CG we went to down in FL last Feb and March. That must be a very popular model.

One day we saw the exact same rig we have, a NorthTrail, going in the opposite direction on the Highway.

When we picked up our Bighorn back in 2006, we rarely saw another Bighorn. A Landmark was even more rare. Now, five years later we see all sorts of Heartland trailers as we travel. They must be doing something right, eh?

You are right about the Big Horns. We are here in Canton Tx and almost every campground here (and there are several) has at least one Big Horn and several have other Heartland products (Prowler etc)

At the Las Vegas rally last weekend there were 5 HL rigs in the CG. We did make contact with them and provided information about the club and forum.

Just finished a trip through the SW and saw several Heartland rigs. Next to a Big Country in a campground north of Salt Lake City, but never did see the owners. Another one down the row in Moab and again, did not see the owners. Two in the next small campground, a BC and a Big Horn. Met the BH owners, very nice of course, informed them about this forum. A Titanium in California and two Landmarks on the Oregon Coast. Saw an Edge someplace along the way. Did not see and North trails other than the back end of mine on a very crooked road.

Today I started home to Sacramento from Casey's in Westfir (east of Eugene) Oregon. I saw 1 Bighorn going southeast on Highway 58 near Lowell (we mutually flashed headlights), a North Trail Headed North on I-5 just as I got into California on I-5, and was following a Bighorn with Nevada plates at about 6 pm when I went south down the freeway (without the Bighorn) in Yreka, California to pick up dinner at the local Black Bear Diner.

Just in the last 6 months or so, we are seeing more HL rigs in the west. Many more than we saw only a year ago.

staying longterm in amarillo tx and the rv park has many heartlands. my rushmore is parked next to a sundance and 2 spots on down is big country, the next one is a big horn and 3 or 4 spots down from there is another landmark. All of us parked in longterm-- so far more than a month there. I generally see at leat 2 or three heartland rigs pull in every evening --about equally split between big horns and landmarks.

Same here in Louisiana. We see them all of the time on I-10 and I-12. Yesterday, we spotted a Landmark on I-10 between Gulfport and Biloxi, MS, heading East. Anyone here on the forum towing that rig? We were camping at the Hollywood Casino in Bay Saint Louis in July, and there were three Big Horns. We also introduced them to the HL club and forum. I hope they joined in. HL is a very popular company right now, and I'm proud to say I own one too! Really love our "palace on wheels".

We see BH and BC quite often, but we've only seen one Landmark on the road so far - it was August 7th, going through the toll booths in Albany, NY. (I remember the date because we were on our way to visit friends at a campground at the time.) :)

Right now at Mill Creek Ranch in Canton Tx there are 3 Landmark, 1 Sundance, and 2 Big Horns. Of course we are all here in preparation for the Texas Rally.
