Steadyfast Installed

I have them installed now, the job was pretty straight forward, especially after installing the first bar. A couple of things to make it go easier, although the instructions are good, especially the pictures.

- When drilling the 17/64" holes for the self tapping screws in the frame, leave the bracket clamped to the frame and start the holes with the 5/16" drill. This gives an indent and centers the hole within the bracket, makes everything easier.

- I drilled a hole first with a 5/32" drill bit, titanium coated and it never even got warm at high speeds, then the 17/64" bit took about 5 seconds to go through.

- don't miss putting the nuts on the shaft that clamps the stabilizers in place. They are locking nuts and will keep you from losing the big wing nut when going down the road if it happens to loosen, a picture is included but thought I'd mention it.

- I used Locktite for insurance.

They seem to work very good but will know more in Temecula.
