Stuck awning brace

Hi, we have a 2016 Landmark. The big awning brace near the door will stick closed more times than not when extended, having to stop and go manually pull it away before it can be fully extended with the power button. When retracting, it closes fine with no hang ups.
Thinking the struts might be getting weaker, we changed those out a couple of years ago but it will still stay closed upon opening most times when used. When it does open properly it's somewhat surprising!
Can you give us some leads on what's the problem?

The same happens on this thing a number of times, the wind here moves the fabric so you may take a look at the way the fabric rolls up and undo the screws in the awning rail and square the fabric up so it tracks up and down right right. See which way the arm is in a bind that will be a clue. That is my thoughts.
