Swivel Recliners

We had problems with the swivel recliner swiveling when we didn't want it to. I ended up getting some small C clamps and clamping the base pieces together. This has worked very good for us and was even easy enough for the wife to do. It also makes the chairs a lot easier to move to vacuum and close the slides.

Glad you found a solution. Our solution was to just get rid of them. We put euro chairs in which are a lot ez'r to move and lighter. The stools flip upside down into the chair for traveling.

Your picture looks very good. Is the cover on your couch permanent or is it a throw?

We did the same thing as nabo - We bought veery similar Euro recliner chairs, and the ottoman even has a small storage for TV guide and the remotes. Looks and works better than the stock items. Great minds...................

Barbara - the cover on the couch is permanent in that is the way it came from HL. Funny thing is that a restuarant we like also has their booths covered with the same material. Strange.
