Ti32 Living Room TV Mount 42"

We are the proud new owners of a 2012 Big Horn Ti32. We are having difficulty figuring out how to release the TV in the living room. We can get it to move slightly from left to right, but other than that, no movement. I do not want to do any damage, so wondering if someone could please tell us how the mechanism works.

Hi hanmaur,

Most of the living room TVs are on fixed mounts that don't have articulating arms. If that's what you're looking for, it's probably not there. If the Ti32 is the exception, hopefully another Ti32 owner will jump in.

If you're trying to take the TV off the wall for some reason, you'll find a piece of wood trim above the top of the TV, preventing any up and down movement. If you remove the 3 screws holding that trim and take it out of the way, you can lift the TV off the mounting bracket. But there are two types of brackets.

One has an upper and lower anchor and you can just lift the TV straight up about 1 or 2 inches and away from the wall. When you put it back, be very certain you've got it sitting on both anchors.

The other type has an anchor at the top, and a setscrew that holds the bottom. You can probably pivot the bottom away from the wall with a gentle tug and then lift straight up to get it over the top anchor. Page 6 of this manual illustrates. If the screw has been turned in, you might have to find an allen wrench to back it out so you can clear the bottom bracket.

When you put the wood trim back in place, be certain there's no up and down movement of the TV.

Thank you for the information. We wanted access to the rear of the TV to be able to hook up the satellite receiver.
