Be careful with laser lights lest you have the FAA come visiting. Airplanes and lasers don't mix well...

Thanks I thought about that. I have the ones from depot that have the red and green. The red doesn't work well

We're getting the chance to see how some of our Mods perform during a two week 3,200 mile trip. Today was day #1 and we got a thorough test of our "Peace of Mind" Mods. One of the first Mods we did was to copy Jim Beletti's "External Inverter Status Light". See post #1377 in What did you do to your camper today for the link to Jim's instructions. This Mod worked perfectly today.

One look in the mirrors and we were assured the refrigerator was running.

The other two were TST Tire Pressure Management System 510 and the Furrion Observation Camera. We had to switch to the "long antenna" on the TPMS half way through day when the standard antenna stopped reading the coach tires. That solved the problem.

We traveled 459 miles today. We are staying the night at the Emerald Desert RV Resort in Palm Desert CA. Nice place, but almost empty.

Unfortunately there was one casualty today. The roads were pretty rough and one of the four blades of the ceiling fan broke off. Fan is not usable and it's 107 degrees here. On to Arizona tomorrow.

What is the TST long antenna?

The standard antenna is a stick about 1-1/2" tall. The long antenna has about a 3 ft cable and the antenna is T shaped about 6 inches long.

Day two and three of our road trip. Had to do repair / Mod while on the trip. While staying at our friends house in Queen Creek, AZ we installed a new ceil fan. The lights match the sconces on the rear of the coach.

Our friends have a 1 acre lot, we just pulled the rig into the backyard. Out of the coach and into the pool.

Day 4 of the road trip. Got the entire rig washed and detailed at Blue Beacon in Phoenix. They did a great job. Got to the RV park in Camp Verde AZ then it poured down rain while we were setting. Oh how we love Auto leveling. Distant Drums RV Resort. Very nice. Nice views.

Jerrod's Mods came in handy during the rain storm. Quick disconnects and magnetic door latches.

Day 5. We spent the night at KOA in Albuquerque, NM. This is one of the nicest KOA we've ever stayed at.
67300ad252c593179c1e3f7c7ca7c5c9.jpg

We had to do some repairs to the coach here. The slide seal gaskets at the top of both sides kept moving forward as we traveled down the highway. I installed screws on each end. Problem solved. Also the header facia to our bedroom dresser fell off!!! It's 9+ feet long and probably 30lbs. Thank goodness Tiki wasn't sleeping there at the time. It was only held on with Brad nails and most of them never connected to the support. I drilled several holes and installed 2.5" deck screws, then filled in the holes with matching wood putty.

Steve, Does the new fan move more air than the factory one? If so what Brand and model is it?
Thanks, Vince

Vince, the original fan had four blades, the new one has five. Neither one moves much air. I wonder if it's because they are so close to the ceiling?

Steve, ours is 4 blades, saw your new one had 5 blades that's why I was hoping it moved some air lol. Ceiling is probably the problem.

Vince, when we get back home, I'm going to attempt to increase the angle of the blades or add some kind of fin to the edge. The new fan (Home Depot) was only $60. The internal motor looked like a twin to the original.
