Tomax Tire Separation after 3500 miles on 2013 Cyclone

I took my Model 300C in for bearing repack and was told all 5 tires (includes unused spare) are separating and need to be replaced - has anyone else had this problem?

Yes, there have been many failures of these tires (link).

Keep the tires if you can and contact Tredit Tire and Wheel to get the process for seeking some replacement assistance.

If you have a tire failure or suspect a failure be sure to record the COMPLETE DOT serial so you can file a complaint with NHTSA

Consider yoursellf very lucky. There have been many owners who have endured thousands of dollars in damage before learning about that tire's reputation. Get what you can out of Treadit, which will be very little, and get yourself some good quality tires.

I just sold My BlowMax tires mounted on the OEM 16 inch rims for $850 on Craigslist. $850 will go a long way toward buying a set of G114.

Most everyone has had problems with Tow Max tires. They have even been known to blow out while mounted on the spare tire tire carrier...Now that's quality !!...Don

these are the worst excuse for a tire ever. all 5 of mine failed, or almost did. Settled with blowmax for $450. Less than half of what it cost to replace them but at least I got something out of them.

I would look real hard at the Goodyear 614's. Not cheap but cheaper that replacing the side of you CY.
