We just purchased a Red31 which is similar in length and weight I think... Our tow vehicle is a 2006 dodge ram 1500 Quad Cab SLT. The TV does have the tow package and brake controller. We also have a weight distribution and single sway control. On our maiden trip the TV pulled the trailer with no real issues under 60 mph. A little sway over 60. We might add an additional sway control... It also, chugged up 5% grades, but did lack a little power. Bottom line upfront... It works.
To boost performance of the TV we installed a Magnaflow exhaust and a Volant cold air intake. We are also installing a transmission tempature gauge to monitor the temps. Now, the TV has no issues with the hills we have here in TN. IF we run into issues we migt upgrade the rearend...
