Diesels are practically as quiet as gassers now a days. The slightly noisier diesel will be way off set by the screaming, head banging and cussing coming from you over the cost of fuel and getting passed by me on a hill with my cool Cummins!!!

Well I'm not going to tell you that I recommend a diesel and get a pair of ear plugs for the wife if she ever needs them but I couldn't imagine she'd ever use them. The BC has either a 14,000# or 15,500# GVWR depending on the model. Whatever truck you get, it must have Maximum Trailer Weight rating of 14,000# or 15,500#.
