My pin box stays full of water, from rain, does anyone make a cover to put on it. It need a hole drilled, but they say not to.

I had the same problem. At first, I made a cover out of vinyl but it seemed to collect water in the same area, over the rear of the trail air. I drilled a small hole on both sides of the lower end of that section so water could drain out. I still have to keep the holes cleared out though.
I also wrap a towel around the rubber bladder to protect it from UV exposure.
Another thing to keep in mind, there are 3 zirk fittings you can't see. They are on the cross shafts up under the bottom plate. Hard to get at but still important to get grease into.

I drilled a small hole in mine too. Like Ray, I have to make sure it's cleared out so it will drain. Can't see any structural reason not to. You will only have those cross shafts to lube if you have the Tri-Glide jaw. If it's a std Trail-Aire it won't have them...Don
