TV interference when bedroom lights are on!

Back to the theory that perhaps some of the LED circuit boards are causing interference as they try to maintain constant lumens and constant color temp despite voltage fluctuations. The Power Converter has 3 voltage levels depending on what's going on with the battery. I'm wondering if maybe Mike's LEDs cause interference at particular voltage levels.

Maybe some of you guys can remove your LEDs one at a time to see if anything changes, or maybe temporarily change to non-LED bulbs to see if the problem goes away.

Ok, now I am really confused. I wanted to show Dan the problem while here in Santo and it seems to be intermittent because now my channels work fine using the OTA antenna with the BR lights on, but earlier in the week, the same channels would destort or disappear completely . . . go figure.

I should point out that this past week, we were in an area that didn't have local stations, so the signal was weak to begin with. Also, noticed that the signal was "much" better during the evening than during the day, so I'm wondering if those stations cut their power during the day???

With lower received signal levels the same constant level of RFI noise will produce more interference.
TV signals are mainly in the Ultra High Frequency (UHF) band now (due to digital TV). Here is an article with a lot of technical jargon that describes how weather affects UHF propogation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tropospheric_propagation
