I believe Jim's first Landmark had a very similar system underneath.
The "bounce be gone" system looks interesting. Auto level with the air ride is a great feature (as long as it is done right "hellooooo - firestone ???").
Reading the article two claims seem a little be far fetched, although neither of those cliams would sway me one way or the other. 1) zero chucking, 2) decreased stopping distance, and this was before it was fine tuned.
I could see some simple changes with that system. HCV's (height control valves) on each side to balance the trailer. Would be great for those units with mega slides and appliances all on one side. Maybe even 4 HCV's for the toy hauler crowd
Bury the control vlaves and gauge behind a door in the J-wrap.
I have the torsion axles Bill mentions on my motorcycle trailer. and that ride is very good.
The other system Bill mentions is Dexter's hybrid suspension. After dealing with firestone's "not ready for prime time" tech r4 hybrid I would pass.
