Hanging out at old Mill stream this weekend. Going to Dutch Wonderland's haunted Halloween. We saw two other Heartland campers here this weekend.

Great looking location.
Waiting for DW elbow (broken in 3 places on trip from NY back to home in FLA) to heal, so we can venture out in about here in FLA!
Thanks for sharing your pics, cool.

Our last planed trip for the season. Gettysburg battlefield resort. We ended up having an excellent weather weekend.

We had a busy family camping trip. Two fifth wheels, two diesels, two tents, 3 cars. 2 cars were in overflow and 5 kids, 2 grandparents, and mom's and dad's.

We ended up with 4 kids in the bunk house during the one really cold night. For some reason they didn't want to stay in a cold tent.:D.

Literally outside our door (you can see a little of the awning at the top of the picture). This is the park we stayed in the first four months of our full-time adventure and consider it a sort of home base (our last home was a few miles away, our storage unit is in the area as well). This campground is a COE campground leased to the Alabama Historical Commission as it is adjacent to the Ft. Toulouse - Ft. Jackson park. No sewer hookups (the camp host still has our old sewer tote that we borrow when we are here), but 50 amp and water, 3-4 bars of AT&T LTE and all the Spanish Moss you can handle. Can't beat the price, either ($18/day).

Nope, that's the normal daily rate.

If you are over 60 the America The Beautiful card is free and allow substantial discount. Available at COE, US Park Service etc. ATB cards are issued by the Federal Government. Some states honor them as well for park discounts.

I've got a few years yet. Also, though this is a COE-built park, the state (AL) historical commission leases the campground from them and runs it. They do offer a senior discount (62+), though.
