Is it Alabama Hills?

Winner, winner, chicken dinner. Alabama Hills west of Lone Pine CA is BLM land. Many TV shows and movies have been filmed here from way back in the 1920s. You’d recognize the landscape from the black and white Lone Ranger TV series. Mountain in background is Mt Whitney, tallest peak in continental US.

Grundy Lake Provincial Park on the Canadian Shield just south of Sudbury Ontario. Our favourite fall destination. Large sites!
