Wall Mounting A Smaller Flat Screen TV

I recently purchased a 22 foot North Trail RBK with a slide out. The TV location is against the wall separating the kitchen from the bathroom and has what feels like a rather solid backing. I'd like to mount a 22" or 26" flat screen on the wall rather than setting on the shelf made for the entertainment center. I don't want to have to disconnect the TV and set it on the bed when we travel. Our previous TT was smaller and we used a mount that I had to attach to a shelf with bolts and I'd rather not drill the holes to mount the TV in that manner. The mount works OK and the TV can be raised and lowered as well as swiveled on a post, but it takes up a lot of space. Anyone have any experience with mounting the TV on the wall?
