Washing the Awning

This is the first real time that I will be giving the camper a good wash this weekend. Got any tips for how to wash the awning? I just want to make sure that I don't rip it.

Thanks.

I just use the same RV brush I use to wash the trailer. Get a clean bucket of water with a little RV or car wash soap and it works fine. When dry, I treat it with a good vinyl protector. Makes the dirt come off easier.

In earlier posts, some folks wet it down real good with their washing solution and roll it up wet. Leave it for a while and then extend it again and rinse. I've done mine (electric) from the roof after washing the roof. Same for the slide toppers, so that all of the dirty rinse from the roof gets cleaned off, too. I've got an extendable pole for my brush.
