We have done the Top of the World Highway from Dawson City, YT to Tok, AK and we and the Horn survived. Yeah for us. We are on day 16 of a 45 Tracks to Adventure Caravan Alaskan trip. We started at Dawson Creek, BC. There is another challenge waiting for us and the BigHorn, Tok, AK to Haines Junction, YT is said to be far worse for road conditions. We spoke with another BH owner who had just done that part, said that it took 8 hours for about 100 miles. The trip is great, it is so beautiful here. So hard to deal with bright daylight at midnight though. Nan and Paul

We're heading that way soon, and would be interested in your report on the Alcan between Tok and Haines Junction. I presume that there is a lot of construction work I/P.

I did the Top of the World 5 years ago. My wife says "NEVER AGAIN", something about our old sob rear kitchen and broken dishes. I never have to remember what, she does it for me!
