Snow Falling and staying- be careful and safe

Yes and be aware, Texans do not know how to drive in this stuff, nor do they know how to clear frozen roads effectively. It's best to stay still and wait for it to pass!!

No snow here in the hill country (Inks Lake state park) but it's cold! 31* this morning.

Contrary to popular belief when I was on the PD the biggest problem when it snowed was the yankees "I know how to drive in snow but I've never seen anything like this". That was when they were pulled out of the ditch after finding our ice undercoating. Texans knew better from past experience. An Uh-Oh moment. Park your squad car on a ramp to an overpass to help stranded travelers. Get out and when you slam the door it goes back down the ramp about 20' before it stops against the guard rail.

And we're leaving for Brownsville this AM.
