What is this switch on control panel???
I have a 2015 Gateway 3659bh.

On the main control panel where all my light switches and power switches are located, there is a on off switch with a red light in the middle of the switch on the far left side of the panel.

Does anyone know what that switch does?

Hi dables,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum and to the family. We have a great bunch of folks here with lots of information and all willing to share their knowledge when needed.

Most likely the switch if for the 120v electric side of the water heater. Do not turn it on unless the water heater is full of water. It will burn out the element if not submerged in water really quick.

I also started a thread for you and moved the question to a better area.

Be sure and check out our Heartland Owners Club. Join us at a rally when you can and meet lots of the great folks here and make friends for a lifetime.

Enjoy the forum and your new unit.

If it's the middle switch on the left side it is for the tank heaters.

Here is my panel.

If you do have that option....never turn it on unless there is water in all the tanks.

The awning receptacle turns on the 110v plug that is outside by your awning arm. It allows you to control awning lights or anything electrical that is plugged into it from inside your RV.

Would it kill Heartland to just label it "Awning Plugs" vs "Awning Receipt"??? I used a label maker to fix mine.
