What's the Capacity of my Holding Tanks?

Hi We just purchased a new Elkridge 29RKSA. This rig has 2 grey holding tanks but there was no mention of this in the specs. What I would like to know is the capacity of each tank. Any info would be helpful

Thanks Rom 4 Ron

Re: holding tanks

If you know the advertised holding tank capacity, each tank should be half that. You can usually find the advertised capacity for each type of trailer on the specs pages on the Heartland RV site (www.heartlandrvs.com).

Not positive about the Elkridge, but in most of these rigs, one of the gray tanks is for the kitchen and the other is for the bathroom. We usually fill the bathroom gray tank about 10 times faster than the kitchen.

I have a new (to me) Greystone. What drains into Grey 1, and what drains into grey 2? I'm still new at this, thanks for the info. This forum is great. I just joined the Owners Club to help give back for all the helpful information learned on this site.

Piet10, if you want to know for sure, run the shower with gray #1 open. If water comes out, the bathroom is gray #1.
