I have experienced a water leak that some non toy hauler Edge owners may want to be aware of. Lately I noticed some wall paper distortion around one of the windows on the inside. It looks like this.
After examining all the caulking, the only place found where water could get into was the Dometic Seitz window end cap. There no butyl tape between the cap and trailer wall and the cap was not caulked. The screw holding the cap was very rusty indicating that water was getting through. The frame hinge rail did have butyl tape and was properly caulked. The screws for the rail were not rusty.
For some reason the Dometic Seitz window installation instructions did not mention anything about water penetration prevention for the end cap.

I have improvised by sandwiching white silicon caulking between the trailer wall and the cap. Also the caulking was injected into the screw hole.
Surprising none of the other cap ends have experienced this problem.
