Wood nose piece on kitchen slide pulling away

We have the Augusta floor plan, on the bottom of the kitchen slide there is a piece of wood about 3-4 inches wide, it is pulling way from the slide in the center. I have read other posts about wood problems, we have not had a flood in the kitchen. It is now about 1/2 inch out. Has anyone experienced this? I was thinking of inserting glue and pushing the wood back in. Not sure if there is anything in there to glue to. Any ideas?

Is it catching/rubbing on something when going out or in?? If so, maybe triming a little off the bottom and then re-securing it might fix it.

The Augusta is almost identical to the BH3670. I'm not at my rig, but I don't recall there being any mechanism or hardware in the center of the slide. Take a look under the trim piece to see if there is anything stuck down there. On my 3670, that trim never contacts the floor, whether the slide is in or out. Unless you have an ice maker in the fridge, there's no way to get water in that area unless you poured it there or drove through a lake.

We'll be back at our rig late Saturday, so I'll take another look at mine if you're still pursuing this.
