We are curretnly volunteering in Joshua Tree National Park---currently the camphost at the Black Rock campground. If you want to camp in the "park"--Black Rock campground is the only one that you will fit in easily. Black Rock has no hook ups at the site, however water is available to fill your tanks and there is a dump station. During the week there is no problem with a site, however on week ends it does get full--you can call and reserve sites 1-877-444-6777 or on line
www.recreation.gov. It is a great campground with hiking trails, and plenty of local wildlife---check a map as the campground is located on the far western boundry of the park---if you want to get to the center of the park it is about 25--35 miles. We would like to have you come here ---have not seen any BH since we got here in Jan. Feel free to sent us an email or give us a call and we would be glad to answer any questions.
