Using single LNB and attaching to Main TV input do I need to feed receiver output into diplexer and attach to cable & antenna feed to receive satellite in basement? Will it be necessary to reverse diplexer in wall behind pass thru?

I would think that all you have to do is install a splitter at the main satellite connection behind the UCD and run a cable to the basement. Maybe put a 2 way connector base on a wall in the basement so you don't have a loose cable flying around. The draw back would be you have run inside to change the channel and volumn. Question, are you going to have 1 coax running to the BR and a seperate coax running to the LR??

tfranks,

The basement outlet is split at the Bedroom satellite input in our UDC center.
