Just received a replace key pad for out BH. I know there are directions on how to operate and how to reprogram the key pad but our new one does not open and close the lock. It lights up like it is suppose to but no lock activation. Is there another step to programing this replacement to an existing transmitter/receiver in our unit?

Yes there is an additional step. You need to remove the window trim from the door. Then if you look down into the door you will see a black box. That box is the reciever. Look for a small cover that snaps into it. Remove that cover and inside the transmitter you will see a jumper. Remove that jumper and keep it out for a few seconds. This erases any codes that may be in from your old transmitter. Replace the jumper to the origional spot. Then close the door and try to reprogram your code. It should work.

Peace
Dave
