Over the past 4 or 5 days my Surge Guard has shut power off to my camper at least a half dozen times. It does it at all times of the day or night with electrical usage in the camper up (with a/c running, water heater on electric, etc.) and with it down (everything turned off except a small table lamp).
Every camper around me seems to be still with power and after the normal Surge Guard delay, the power comes back on and things are fine for hours or day. Last night for the first time, the unit power kicked back in and then kicked back out three times before coming on and staying on. That was about 7:30 PM. The power was fine until it kicked off at 5:30 AM this morning. After it's normal reset, I have had no problem since. That's usually how it is...hours and hours before it kicks out again.
I'm at a loss if it is doing it's job or if it is malfunctioning. I do not have a clue how to check it. When I lose power, the readout on my panel say "delay reset" or something like that. Right now with every thing working as it should, with the water heater and refer on electric the monitor says "126V 2A" on the top line and "111V 8A" on the bottom line.
Any suggestions??
