Mine is close enough to the floor to be able to slide it up and sweep into it.
I contaced Eureka about trying to get a power head for the Yellow Jacket. After several attempts and a phone call, they finally responded. They do not carry the Yellow Jacket anymore. That has been passed on to Electrolux (so I was told). So, I've contacted them about getting a power head. Nope, haven't heard from them either. I believe that if I had a power head, vacuuming would be much more successful. It has the power, just no power head!

I think most of those power heads are pretty universal. They all just run off vacuum. I just went with the Eureka because thats what my central is.My vacuum is 1/4" off floor and sucks superbly. Unfortunately my DW hasn't opened the box to put the hose together. Does the Power Paw work on all of the vacs in the rigs? And is there other choices for power heads? People with dirty shoes seem to wander in to see the splendor and that linoleum and beige carpet dirty quickly.
Mountainlovers76, check the connection between the vac and the floor sweep. It may have separated causing a vacuum loss.
larryheadhunter, etal, we use the beater head from our stick house central vac. It works really well. I have seen them on ebay although not cheap. I think they were a couple hundred bucks.
