EVENT: Heartland Chapter Rally: TN, Crossville - 9/6/2013 to 9/8/2013

WOW what a great North American Heartland Rally! And what a great group from Tennessee and Kentucky who went to the rally. But now it's time to refocus on the upcoming rally.

Question - would anyone like rally t-shirts? we haven't investigated in this yet but if there is a interest, will do.

Also - don't forget about the play on Saturday afternoon at the Cumberland Playhouse. The letter P has been put by your name on the first post for the ones who have said they wanted to go. If anyone else would like to be included, please let us know. Payment will be due sometime by the end of August - will let ya'll know how much and where to send the check (money) to soon.

Hey, I got an idea! I can bring my smoker over in the back of the truck and we can smoke up some ribs. I can only do a few slabs (maybe 4) at a time - but with other food and a small early arrival crowd - could be some fun. Okay - who's got a good baked bean recipe they want to make and will arrive early in the week? And ya know - a god homemade potato salad recipe sounds good too

My baked beans have failed so many times, I will never do them again, but I will be happy to bring a dessert.

Valerie, You had first hand knowledge of my beans and I tried them again in Goshen. And, I don't even like to eat them. YUCK. I quit.
I am better at desserts and breads and muffins. I am thinking some pumpkin muffins and carrot cake for fall.

The bean cooking is for the someone else. You are sweet to keep trying to teach me, but we must let this bean pass to someone else.
