Correct the pump runs on the 12v dc power. I am wondering if anyone has wired in a converter to run the pump off the shore power.

Am I correct in thinking the water pump only runs off the battery and not powered by the coverter when plugged into shore power? If so has anyone wired a ac to dc converter to run the water pump and wired a switch to run off the battery if ac is not available?
