Well we have owned our Bighorn Traveller for 3 years now. We have decided with 8 grandkids, we need a bunkhouse. The market in Florida is very flat and its a buyers market at the dealers. Lots of great prices and we have traded our Bighorn for a Grand Design 324 MBS. We decided to go through...
Its very frustrating and it doesn't seem to be manufacture specific. This is an industry issue. I have talked to so many with the same concerns and some just accept that RV's need constant maintenance and corrective actions at your expense. My new water tank sags between the cross members...
Well my suspicions were correct and I will say a BIG thank you to CGROLL for the great troubleshooting.
The connectors were behind the fireplace and the inverter source was marked with white tape...now who wouldn't know that was from the inverter. One might think there would be white tape on...
Well tomorrow I will pull my FP as I have the exact same issue. My fireplace works with no AC power but the fridge does not. I am glad I searched these forums. I will update my threat and reference yours when I solve my issue.
I have a 2020 Bighorn Traveller. We moved our rig from Estero FL to Marathon. I noticed the refer was not powered by the invertor?
Inverter is on
Auto switchover is clicking when power is removed
Battery is charged
I will check to make sure the auto transfer switch is putting out power...
I have owned my 2020 Bighorn Traveller for about 10 months. We are in Florida for the winter so we have used our rig for the last 2 months. One of the issues I have found besides electrical, flooring, landing gear and slides is I have a leak in my fresh water holding tank system. I do not...
I received this from BAL customer support this morning. I replaced all vertical seals inside and out. I could not find anything for the user from the manufacturer to assist with the install, weatherproofing, and maintenance. I went to Heartland and they sent me a leaflet of the possible seal...
I know this post is a couple years old but I have the same issues with my cable slide. I am curious if there is an update? Did the design last longer than the OEM? What about the inner wiper? Did you leave it original?
Well for those that read my last update that I have since deleted, there is an update. I cut the floor across the nut and realized its not a nut but a #3 screw head. A large one at that. I tightened the screw very tight. I heated the floor and used a bit of silicone under the flooring. I...
Well moving the island is out of the question. It is secured from the bottom of the RV and there is a subfloor in the island. No visible anchor points. I only hope the nut under the flooring is not a bad choice of an anchor point for something else. The FW tank is in that vicinity.
Thanks for the two responses. I like the ideas. I will check to see what it takes to remove the island and if that is too much, I will make the cut. I am sure I can find surplus in the closet or under the bed. I didn't think about the hair dryer to heat it up. Thank you.
