Sundance XLT 5er and with towmax tires ?

Our Elkridge E22 5'r is at the lower end of the GVWR(9,900#). With that said I felt that the Towmax tires that came with it new would be OK. Well, so much for my opinion as I joined the Blowmax club this week. I took the blown tire to our local tire shop and asked the owner for his input on what...

    Oregon Coast

If that is the case, you probably will also want to ditch your state license plate:angel: Spoken by a transplant from the Mojave Desert in 1960. Wear your colors............we won't be offended. Just leave lots of money and don't stay too long.........only kidding.

What did you do to your camper today?

Technically it isn't to the camper, but an accessory of the camper. I built a EU Quiet Box for our EU2000i. See and hear on my Flicker account. For some reason it won't play on Google Chrome(but will in "incognito" window), but will play on Mozilla Firefox and MS Internet Explorer. EU2000i au...

Considering Prowler P255 5'er, ANY current owners out there with feedback?

We do have the outside "camp kitchen" and use it frequently...................but not as a kitchen. I call it a fish cleaning station. If the outside fridge was propane it would be a major improvement as we primarily dry camp with no electric hookup. Have never used the outside microwave.

Considering Prowler P255 5'er, ANY current owners out there with feedback?

I think the Prowler "P" series and Elkridge "E" series Fifth Wheels are pretty much the same. We have been very happy with our Elkridge E22 which is the next size down from the 255 models.

    Mods to my 28brs

I bought the Ming's 1156/1141 Green Long Life 330 Lumens LED Bulbs. So far in over four years of use not a single one has failed. Just for clarification these are not for the RV taillight or sidemarker bulbs.

    Frame issues

No problems with the frame on our Elkridge E22 Fifth Wheel in the 5 years we have owned it. Very few problems overall.

    Mods to my 28brs

Mods are fun! I think most RV owners that are so inclined will go for it. This is what we have done: Replaced kitchen sink faucet, bathroom sink faucet, camp kitchen sink faucet. Replaced OEM mattress with a memory foam mattress. Installed a direct coax for satellite TV. Replaced all slam...

Small decals on side of new rig

Wife's hair dryer. Heat up the decal and peel off. You can use WD-40 for any adhesive residue that might remain. Then a fresh coating of wax over where you removed the decal.

    Unidentified switch

Do you have an outside camp-kitchen with a second microwave? If so there is a light type on/off switch that controls the use of either the inside or outside microwave. This is to keep someone from running both microwaves at the same time..............too much electricity for the circuit.

    PEX plumbing question

And don't forget the brass connector's(T's) between pipe runs. They are the most likely to fail due to freezing before the Pex will. Our Elkridge does not have an enclosed underbelly and the first year of use I did have some water pipes freeze while camping when the outside temp was in the lower...

Using a DC 24 volt CPAP while boondocking

Easiest option is the Resmed #36970 DC/DC Converter. http://www.resmed.com/us/dam/documents/products/accessory/air-solutions-series/user-guide/378402r2_air10-s9-dc-converter-90w_user-guide_glo_eng.pdf

Using a DC 24 volt CPAP while boondocking

More questions for you Sweenja1: What make and model of CPAP machines? Do you use and need a humidifier? Will your CPAP machines run directly off of DC power? I presume the two batteries you mention are for powering the 12V trailer system? I have two 12V batteries(besides the RV batteries)...
