    Lifetime Roof

I had a Spray On Roof done this past fall at the end of the season. So far, after some heavy snows and a lot of rain the interior is dry as a powdered baby's butt! I will post some pics when I can gt up top. It is a product from Rhino Liner. NO MORE CAULIKNG! Not cheap, but with a 20 year...

    Roof coming up

I had an issue with my 2011 Elkridge 5th wheel. The roof had water damage in the rear corner where the ladder was mounted. I weighed the costs: 1.) Replace and repair roof $3200 (replace rotted wood and rubber on 1/2 of roof). 2.) Replace rotted wood and replace entire rubber roof $4500. 3.)...

    Roof replacement

Unfortunately, I have complained to both and have gotten nothing but the run around. Problem is fixed now. The waterline was not properly clamped, according to my plumber that repaired it on sight for me. Still had to deal with drying the camper out in the storage and water pump area under the...

    Roof replacement

My issues started right after I picked it up, off of the lot from the dealer. While the camper is 4 years old, I have only had it for 3 years.... Electrical issues, plumbing issues, water coming in from under the slide only when towing, the roof,....These are the major issues, I have corrected...

    Roof replacement

I have had far too many isues with this camper. Water intrusion is the last straw. 1. the rubber could not be glues back down as there was too much debris attached to it when peeled back. 2. there was a quasi repaired tear on the end of the roof that caused this to begin with. 3. I had the money...

    Roof replacement

So the Camper went to the shop last week. The pics show what was found under the rubber roof. They found the leak. It was in the rear corner on the edge near the ladder. Apparently a half cocked repair, probably by the dealer I purchased from (their shop is horrible). There waqs a 2 inch tear...

    Roof replacement

I went to the shop to examine the material. The owner had a sample of rubber4'x4' in size as well as the spray on stuff 4'x4'. About the same weight. Not enough to worry over. So in 2 more weeks I will have the new roof. it is about 10% lighter in weight.

    Roof replacement

I have a 2011 Elkridge Fifth wheel model 29bhck. It has a rotted spot in the wood near the ladder about 18"x18". I can find no holes or tears in the rubber. Edges at wall seem tight, no cracked call anywhere... Needless to say I am not happy since I bought the full version nit new in 2012...

Refrigerator and water heater will not work on electricity

Check to see if the water heater element is bad. I had an issue that fried my converter and would trip power into the rig. It ended up being a bad element in the water heater. Apparently the neutral wire had a broken terminal (did not find that until I unscrewd the lug) and it caused a short and...

    No power in Rig

Well today I went to install the new converter. Had a snafu though. I had to find what was causing the issue with my tripping ogf the GFI at the house. Upon investigation I found a broken terminal/neutral wire on my electric side of the water heater. I replaced the element as well as it looked...

    No power in Rig

I ordered another converter today. Best Converter online after I spoke with a tec over the phone. He agreed that the issue was something shorted in the WFCO stck unit. He also reccomended the Powermax Gen 4 converter over the Progressice Dynamics model. It also has an additional years warranty...

    No power in Rig

Anyone have any idea what might be wrong with the converter? It is the only thing in the camper that tripped the GFI on my receptacle on the house. When I removed it it stopped. Does the cooling fan run on DC or AC? I seem to recall it running.

    No power in Rig

I did think of this but it has the 125 volt type plug on it and my outlets do not.

    No power in Rig

This is all a new problem. Been plugged in this way for years. Voltage has always been the same with the outlet on the house and on the camper. The cord run is only 25' and is a 10 guage cord. The issue goes away when I unplug the converter under the steps. The voltage stays consistant thru out...

    No power in Rig

So today I checked the GFI outlet in the bathroom. It functioned so long as the breaker in the panesl box for the converter was off. I tested the voltage across the Bathroom GFI and got 115v. I then moved the wall in the understorage compartment and unplugged the converter. I turned on all of...
