We actually had the same issue and our tech DID find the cutout from the valve left in the tank.

Craftsman makes a tool that fits in a drill to remove stripped screws. I have one and it works like a champ!

We have been in our 37SS for about a year and we love it. We did not find another rig anywhere with the huge bedroom and we love it. Of course, we have made a few mods like adding shelves in the pantry to make it our own.

On my 2018 Traveler, the black tank valve would not open or close all the way. When my dealer was doing the repair, they found the piece that was cut out to place the valve was left in the tank and floated up against the valve whenever the tank filled.

Turn the fan on manual and high, then turn the heat on and leave it until you hear the heat cycle on. Let the heat run for a couple of minutes, then turn everything off. Reset furnace back to auto and heat and turn the temp up until the heat comes back on.

We full-time in our Bighorn with the Splendide Stackable and we love it. Not sure what the others have but our unit is in the bedroom and, with the closet door shut, it can be running and we barely hear it.
