Remote temperature monitor how-to. Where is it?

I appreciate you're trying to help but this blink system is not what I'm looking for. It runs off AC and requires a wifi connection and that's not what I want. I want something that runs off DC and uses a cell connection for alerts. I know it's here somewhere, just can't find it.

Remote temperature monitor how-to. Where is it?

Not quite what I was after. The setup I recall monitored temp on its own and if it went outside programmable limits t would call a designated, or designated phone numbers with an alert msg, or something along those lines. As long as there was cell service it was good to go.

Remote temperature monitor how-to. Where is it?

Quite a while back I recall a thread about a remote temperature monitoring system someone had put together using some sort of temp monitor and a pay as you go type of cell phone, but I cant find it anymore. Is this ringing any bells for anyone? I'd really like to revisit this system.

    ATF: Cyclone - Interior Lights

The breaker box has metal "fingers" that are supposed to press in between the contacts in the breaker. The breaker on the left still has it's contacts. The finger slides between these. The finger for the seriously torched breaker was bent up and instead of being pressed between the contacts...

    ATF: Cyclone - Interior Lights

Or you could get a panicked call from you wife that there's a funny smell in the kitchen, there is smoke coming from the main breaker box, and rush back to find your main breaker looks like this... http:// because it was installed incorrectly from the factory.

    Extended Warranty and sealant

Pull off some panels here and there and get a good look at the quality of construction, or lack thereof more accurately, and you might be more inclined to consider the extended. I bought one and it's earned it's keep. Fridge control board toasted. Transfer switch twice. Leaky hydraulics...

    What's your favorite carry weapon?

This is such a wide spread fallacy that it isn't even funny anymore. At any range you're likely to encounter in an RV (and the average home for that matter) you had best aim that shotty. Real life isnt hollywood and you aren't going to clear half the room just by "pointing in the general...

    Dealer is horrible!

Bingo. I took my unit to my local General RV for the first and last time. The service rep was a complete waste of space. Two weeks to get in, better part of a week to verify that "yes the xfer switch is indeed broken", like I said in the first place. Two more weeks without a peep. What's...

    Cyclone 4200

Re: Well, it's time to ask about the 4200 again??? Will it have a bunk ladder you can climb barefoot without first injecting your feet with painkillers?

Roadmaster Active Suspension system new to market any users?

Despite the marketing jargon, when you get right down to it, it's nothing more than another take on a helper spring. It's really no more "active" than any other type of spring system. To be fair, your standard air bag system isn't all that active either, if it's the type where you fill it to...

    Loft Ladder.

This has been a complaint for YEARS. I cannot for the life of me understand why the factory is being so incredibly obstinate about making such a simple change.

    Recessed shower

****, consider yourself lucky. My best friend is just shy of 7'. Imagine him trying to find a unit with a shower he can stand up in.

    A/C ducting modification questions...

Aaand, the light bulb goes on. Makes all kind of sense now. :) I might try that tent in the vent thing first to see if it makes any significant difference. I'd rather not have to shell out the money for another A/C if I don't have to. No idea what I'd do with the extra one.

    Generator Auto Start. How to....

As usual my search attempts yielded nada. There have been a number of times we've lost power at campgrounds, which hasn't been an issue since we were always present and just hit the switch. This last time though I know of a couple of campers that were not present when it happened, and they...

    A/C ducting modification questions...

Any and all input is appreciated, but I'm a bit unsure of what question you are answering. I know my front A/C isn't ducted. I added it and used a non-ducted model, which if I had to do over I might do different, hence my questioning on the practicality of changing it out, replacing it with w...
