Any good web sites for looking into fuel prices?

Don't fuel up with the trailer attached.. Get an auxiliary fuel tank. I never fuel up with my trailer and don't want to ever again.. That is why I installed a 45gal tank in the bed. Only place I would even think of it is in a truck stop but the fuel is more expensive there. FWIW BC

    Truck Question

I have a 2008 Bighorn 38ft long. I have not had a problem staying in any state park, COE or other park I have visited. I alway check the internet to see if they can handle big rigs, check out RV Park Reivews or/and call the park. If I have not contacted the park early I call when I am about an...

Keeping the @#$ %&*! Drawers Shut While Travelling

I posted a similar problem some time ago. The drawer under the couch kept rolling out and after a while the bottom fell out. I stored more than 50# in it. I took and rebuilt it and added casters on the bottom. It was supported by drawer slides and was hard to get back into the couch. The...

    Canadian Proof of Insurance?

I have had a Canadian ID card when we went to PEI and Novia Scotia. I just requested one from my insurance agent via chat. You only need liability on your truck... as said above the liability for your trailer is when it is connected to your truck. One think I found out.... My insurance is...

Axle Wrap problems with 2012 F350 Crew cab, long bed

I don't really know what Axle Wrap is.... I have noticed that if I get into a situation, without the trailer, and my rear wheels start to slip, such as when I was on the beach in sand and almost got stuck, that the rear of my truck started to bounce as if it were going over big rocks.. I though...

    B&W Patriot Hitch... Good enough?

Absolutely go with the 18k or 20k hitch. 16k is to close to the hitch weight limit.. I have the Companion 18k. If I were going to get a new one today I would go with B&W and get the 20k if I could. I would be able to pull any trailer I wanted with out having to install a larger one. FWIW BC

    Maintaining 110 psi

I have seen similar fluxuation but it is normally due to temperature of the day, heat from traveling and if the sun is hitting the tires. As mentioned above, set the pressure early in the morning. If the sun is on one side the pressure could be up a couple of pounds. I wouldn't mess with the...

    ANSWERED: Does Thor own Heartland?

I don't think you will find anyone saying this is a bad deal. Although a very good friend of mine told me not to buy a Thor product because they wouldn't hold up. I don't know if Heartland is strongly influnced by Thor, but we will never know. I genuinely hope that Heartland works hard to keep...

Is my 50 amp power cord long enough?

Tony... My supressor is external. In a way it could be rigged inside but it would be better to use the internal version. I always plug mine into the pedestal... Is my 50 amp power cord long enough?

Actually if you have a 50a extension you don't need a 30a extension also. Just use an adapter to go from 50a to 30a and your good to go. No need to carry the extra weight of the 30a. This way you are covered for both 50a and 30a.... BC
