Don't fuel up with the trailer attached.. Get an auxiliary fuel tank. I never fuel up with my trailer and don't want to ever again.. That is why I installed a 45gal tank in the bed. Only place I would even think of it is in a truck stop but the fuel is more expensive there. FWIW BC

Absolutely go with the 18k or 20k hitch. 16k is to close to the hitch weight limit.. I have the Companion 18k. If I were going to get a new one today I would go with B&W and get the 20k if I could. I would be able to pull any trailer I wanted with out having to install a larger one. FWIW BC

You should have no problem. I plug my 50a power cable into a 50a surge guard then to a 50/30 amp adapter to run on 30amp service if I have to use one. BC

The levelup system is by Lippert. There is another you might look into and that is Bigfoot by Quadra Manufacturing... They have been in the business for a long time. I have had no problems with the Bigfoot leveling system.. I would not be without an auto leveling system. BC

Actually if you have a 50a extension you don't need a 30a extension also. Just use an adapter to go from 50a to 30a and your good to go. No need to carry the extra weight of the 30a. This way you are covered for both 50a and 30a.... BC

I have a 50a extension that is 15ft. That is all I have ever needed and I have used it a number of times. I believe if you don't have one you should look into finding one. I also have a 50a to 50a adaptor. I have been to a number of campgrounds that have the power source so low to the ground...
