Re: Heartland Server Problems
I am still having a problem also. Says the server is busy... This forum is the first place I go to read and see what others are doing. It is disapointing that it is still having the same problem.
I am on a number of other forums and none of them are having a...
Update: Refinished my BH 3400RE with ZEP...
I am in San Marcos and I washed my trailer this evening before starting to Montgomery TX tomorrow. I refinished my trailer in December of last year. This is the first trip I have taken since the refinish. For those that have not done so I am here to...
We have upgraded to 17.5's also. Installed in Dec. Haven't had enough miles on them to give a great opinion but really glad we have them. Takes away the worry of tire problems. We hope...

We will be arriving Friday around 3 or 4 pm. Had to stop in San Marcos to get the Truck checked out, so we decided to stay at this campground until Friday.
Looking forward to meeting everyone. Anyone going to be there over the weekend??

I have also changed to 17.5 rims and G114 tires. This was done last December so I don't have many miles on them yet. I air them up to 100psi per the Goodyear chart. I had them balanced when they were mounted and hope they ware well. I got me tire ware indicator that they measure tire tread at...
I travel with my propane turned off and the Frig turned off. Seeing how you are in fire safety here is a websit you might be intrested in..
Mac The Fire Guy.. Check out Fact #8....
Make up your own mind.

Well for those of you that said nothing could be done.... I am glad to say you are mistaken.... I received an email that told me what to do. This is the sign of a good company....
Here is the reply to my email.

Intresting thought. I have my parents flag. Never thought to see how many stars. I will be checking it next time I go out.
I would like to find a way to repair the pole or find something more substantial that will fit the bracket... any ideas??

I had a problem connecting at all a few hours ago.
I have even been making a post and when I submit it, it freezes up and I loose all that I wrote. I am getting where I make a copy of what I wrote before I post the reply. I have even gone to write it in notepad and hope I can post it later on...
Well it looks like my Flag Pole was not strong enough for the South Texas winds. It busted at the top of the second section. Wind must have be very strong last night.
Have an email in to Flag Pole Buddy to see if there is a way to get a new section. Has anyone else had one break on them??

My vet said not to use canned food and stay from food like Kibble & Bits. The soft parts of Kibble & Bits have a tendency to stick in their teeth as well as the can food. Dry food is preferred.
Also he said to brush the small dogs teeth once a week. If not they have a tendency to cause...
Well the majority of the cost is labor and they charge $65/hr. It took three days. 2 days on the big slide and one on the small one. 24hrs +- @ $65 = $1560 + the cost of the 1/8" aluminum sheet metal. If your problem is like mine you do not have to remove the slide. They didn't here. They said...
Thanks for the link to Dog Food Advisor. I hope it is accurate. You know everything on the internet is true.... It rates the food we use for Trevor as a 5 Star food. That is good to know.

I am at Pipe creek Texas getting my living room slides repaired. Over the years I have had a leak
that is rotting out the edges of the big slide. Tried to stop it but didn't get it done. A friend
helped me work on the front edge of the big slide last year or so and I worked on the rear of the...
I don't know if your Sundance has a Trailair pinbox you have a good start for a bike rack mount. If you don't have a Trailair you can make modifications to adjust the distance. Also if you have a short bed truck you could have a bit of a clearance problem. Check it out before you get started...
I know I am different.. But I don't want to pick up large containers. So I have a small amount of things in the stackable milk crates. I can lift them out easily, move them around and they are not loaded heavyly.
Went to a Kroger store and asked the manager about the cartons that were in the...
Suzi is 16 !!!! Wow. She has been around for a long time. That would be 112yr if she were a human. Our Cowboy lived to 13 and we had to let her go... Good for you guys.. Hope to see you sometime.
BC
Wow... You guys are really way out there. I have a 45gal Tank in the bed and a 38gal OEM. I have an electric valve that I use to change tanks from the inside of the cab. It also changes the fuel gage to the same tank I am running on. From my habits I grew up with in Wyoming, I don't worry about...
We changed the food we were feeding Trevor. We wanted a better healthy food and our Vet agreed that this was better than what we were using.
Natures's Variety - Chicken Meal & Brown Rice Medly.
Here is the web page to locate a store you can pickup some at. Normally PetCo will have it...
Rather than put in chairs we replaced our dinnette with a cabinet to hold our portable ice maker and cover our 5cu ft freezer..
We felt this would give us more service than anything else..
This is what we do..

Do you have Theater chairs?? If so would you post a photo and tell me where you purchased it?
My Lazy Boy Chairs back lifts off. I think all of the Lazy Boy chairs backs slide off.
Thanks for your replys...

We have a 2008 Bighorn 3400RE. The two lazy boy recliners are about worn out. Mine is broken and we are going to replace both of them.
We are wanting a Theater Couch/Chairs. The full width of our slide is 77.5" but the valance on each side takes up extra room making the clearance of 72".
If...
What I am going to say will not make you happy but this is the way I believe how things work out. I have made a lot of modifications to my trailer. The same day I picked up the trailer I took it to Discount Tire and had all 5 tires replaced with XPS Ribs. I didn't want to have one blow out and...
I got rid of my Interstate battery. Always had a problem with them. I went to Sams Club and bought a deep charge gel battery. I doesn't need to be checked for water and they seem to last a long time. They are expensive though.. $155.00 is what they cost me in 2010...
When you get your trailer you will find a wall inside the basement that when one part is removed you can see back into the trailer. We stay in the Dallas area from Nov thru February and the temp can get down to the mid 20's or more. I take a couple of the Reflector Clamp Light, from Walmart. Put...
Yes. I have the Big Foot auto level system. Had it since 4/28/10 and have had no serious problems. Had to change out the two rear switches which took using a crescent wrench to remove the switch and screwing in the new one provided by Big Foot.
I am extreamly happy with the system and wouldn't...
I also use Rotilla T 15W-40 and change the oil ever 5k miles. Have done this every time since I bought my 2006 F250. So far everything is working well.

When you go to install the surge suppressor, I would strongly suggest that you do not cut your existing cable to the shore power. Disconnect it from the TS and use some new conductor. You can use 4 seperate conductors or use a 4 conductor cable. Seperate conductor will always run cooler. If you...
I don't think the straps should be loose. If so what is supporting the tank when it is empty?? Something has to support the empty tank weight.
I would definitely adjust the straps, and/or call Heartland and get their advice...

Wow.. You stole my thunder. You are right on about applying Caulk... I was shown by one of the Heartland tech at Gillette last year and he said I should use the blue painters tape to protect the area around where I want to apply the caulk. I have a blue caulk scraper which works pretty well and...
Re: Recomendations Wanted
You will receive a lot of good information on this forum. As well as that I would contact The 3GStore and get information from them also. They help provide Internet and phone access for RVers.
I would not purchase an aircard or anything for the internet from a...
Don't you have a control in the Hydraulic/Battery compartment. Not sure all will have one but I am thinking they should.
Here is what mine looks like... Close off the valve for the slide you don't want to move out....

I have read a number of posts about having A/C's put into the new trailers.. Some are talking about having 3 A/C's. That should keep it cool in the summer if you're in Texas.. I have seen 3 A/C's in some of the upscale MH's but few in trailers.
How many are looking for this? What would this...
