The TV mount is screwed to a 1" board that is then screwed to the wall. I found it was much easier to remove the 1" board (8 screws in mine, 4 above the top of the TV and 4 below). I used a 6" phillips bit in my screw gun and had it off in 3 minutes. That was after 45 minutes of trying to...
As for Ford, Chev or Dodge that is just a personal preference. I think they are all pretty good. I would say what ever you do if your going to be towing buy a diesel!
LBR
I have tried every search phrase I can think of but still can't find anything about running all 3 A/C's at once. If you have a chance could you point me in the right direction? TIA
I have the same 6 1/2 foot bed and the Anderson hitch. I have not had any problems with backing and can make almost a full 90 degree turn. It is IMO the best hitch on the market and I have been pulling 5er's for 40 years. We rarely camp in camp grounds. I have to hitch and unhitch on uneven...
Mine also has the thicker backer board. I'll have to look again but I'm not sure I can get at those screws either. Did you just use a short screw driver?
I have a 2018 Cyclone 4250. In the main living area is a large TV 55-60 inch. I am trying to remove it so I can add an optical audio cable so I can play my digital media player through the surround sound. It looks like when the TV was hung on the brackets the screws in the bottom of the arms...
I have the same setup. I was able to run the camera wire along the roof then down through the trailer and out just to the right of the generator compartment at the same height as the plug on the truck. The only visible wire is where it exits the trailer and into the plug about 3 '. It works...
I had the same problem in my Cyclone. I called and talked to the service rep at the dealer and he told me sometimes at higher elavations the LPG regulator needs to have the pressure setting lowered. At higher elavations the pressure increases and the gas itself actually blowes the flame out...
I have a 2018 Cyclone 4250. It has 1-1/2 bathrooms and 2 separate sets of black and grey water tanks and tank valves. The first time we went to dump the tanks we started with the forward set, hooked the hose up and dumped both tanks with no issues. I pull forward 15 feet hook the hose to the...
My Cyclone has two switches for the yeti package. One is like you described and is the 110 power switch. The other is in the switch cabinet and is the 12 volt power switch. I'm not sure but is sounds like you have the same thing.
I have the same truck and ordered it with 18" wheels just because of the towing capacity. Larger wheels usually mean a higher gear ratio. Also the tires on 20 inch wheels are lower profile. I would check with Ford on how it affects the towing capacity. Check into the Anderson hitch. It has an...
Here is the chart from Ford's site. I would agree that DRW is the BEST option but certainly not the only option. There are many factors to consider including what the truck is used for outside of towing. You can tow a big 5'er with a SRW. As I said in my original post I have been doing it safely...
I could not agree more. I bought a SRW 2017 F350 about 3 months ago. I pull a Cyclone 4250 with a max weight of 20K and we max it. I have about 6000 miles on the trailer and it pulls like a dream. Wind, hills (and in Utah we have many) or sharp curves have not been a problem at all. I am soooo...
I don't think it affected the height much. I have a 4 seat razor with a spare tire rack that mounts about 3 inches higher than the roof and I still have about 6 inches below the 2nd bed/seats. I will take a picture tonight and post it.
I store mine foe the back patio and the side patio on the top bed in the garage. I drilled 4 new holes for the lock pins a little higher than the factory ones. It works great.
Yes I did hook up and tow the trailer without the air bags. It sat down until it just touched the overload springs about 4". The pin weight is about 3770. Sorry on the air bag pressure. The system I have is automatic system ( Air Lift ) When I load the trailer it inflates the bags until the...
Just some information. I have a new 2017 F350 also and am towing a Cyclone 4250 with an Anderson Ultimate Hitch. I have had no problems with the extra height of the bed rails. I run the hitch on the lowest of the 3 settings to keep the trailer level and still have plenty of clearance.
If you only need to haul a golf cart or some bikes. Buy the 5er you want and this TV.
You would be surprised at how cost effective it can be.
I think most of people buying toyhaulers need the large garage. Ours has a 13' garage and is almost to small.
We always drop in a packet each trip. Its in expensive and helps with odor and waste breakdown. Here is a link for what we use.

I installed a 90 gal RDS on my new 2017 F350 and I thought I had the same problem. It turns out it tricks the fuel gauge somehow. I filled the truck tank then filled the transfer tank ( 90 gal tank only held 81 gallons). I started driving thinking the gauge would show full untill the transfer...
FYI Good Sam Insurance is just an independent insurance agency based in MO. that gives a discount for having a Good Sam Club RV membership. When you call for a quote they quote several companies to find the best price. These include Progressive, National General, Foremost and several others...
I finally received the product today. (I thought it was a scam!) It is called F11 Top Coat. The label says it is a wax replacement technology product. I will try it out in the next couple of days and post my findings. I hope it works great. At $60.00 for a 16oz bottle its a little pricey.
FYI...Insurance rates are credit driven. It is much more important than your drving record. 2 people in the same area with exactly the same rv, age and driving record will have different rates because of their credit score. 99% of insurance companies use this system including Progressive and...
