"Fridge Fixer" (device designed to hold fridge doors closed during transit) maiden voyage extreme test result: it works very well, amazingly well!!!
Got to campground last Thursday, opened RV door to find the residential fridge tipped over. Fridge doors and freezer drawer stayed shut, thanks to...
Most recent accident involved scrambled eggs on the carpet. Had a rubber coated twisty tie that came loose. Now we use a spring rod on each shelf and a bunch of ties. More is better, right? No further issues so far.
Re: 2021 - Goshen Rally - Deferred
Disappointed, but understand completely. Thanks, Jim; you put a lot of work into 2021 already, and it must be disappointing for you, too.

Congrats, Jim, on getting initial initial moving parts assembled! Fingers/toes crossed and praying COVID, State, County, City and Thor fit into place as well.
Switching metaphors, it's like conducting an orchestra, eh?

This presentation is under development. The title may change.

Howdy, Gary. I'll be posting the particulars in a day or two. Yes we're planning on Elkhart Campground, looking at the last weekend in September. How's that sound?
Lyle
Lots of moving parts, hope they work out.
We've enjoyed every NAHR, but the ECCC was tough for the big events. The AV folks did well considering the size/shape of the room, but it felt like not everyone could fully participate/view/enjoy.
Again, thanks for all the skull sweat you put in to...
The PALTeam convened and considered your proposal. We agree that:
Meeting at Amish homes is not a good idea. Better safe than ...
We like your plans for Thursday, like 'em a lot! I can wear my dark clothes and shoes with white socks.
We like your plan for Saturday as well, but are wondering...
Good point!

My storage spot is lower in the back, so I can retract the front legs almost all the way.
So, it looks like it comes down to 1) what are your needs (stability in high winds) and 2) what is your preference?
Thanks all!
I like to keep any hydraulic ram closed up when not in use so the piston rod is not exposed to the elements. I also like to keep the rods lubed with silicon, makes them slide up and down easier and protects them when they are extended.
This was my 'common sense' approach (not an expert...
6 point Level Up is normally enough; X-Chock on sloped sites (before unhooking, don't want the coach wandering away by itself) and when grandsons visit (they generate a lot more rocking than Pam and/or I!) Orange, plastic wheel chocks when it's at the storage place.
Sorry, but we have to cancel. Pam's mom turns 90 in September, and the 13th is the only time that works for the celebration. We need to be there early to communicate, coordinate, decorate and several other 'ates'. Bummed, but she's Pam's only mum, so I know you'll understand. Hope you have a...
Ditto what others said.
In more detail ...
We had IS, disc brakes and upgraded bearings installed on our 2016 Cyclone 4100 three years ago now.. Pricey, especially for a tri axle, but well worth it. That Cyclone just floats along back there! And, each wheel is independently adjustable for...
I'm a little confused myself, Gary; new aspects to this forum that I'm getting to know. Not sure how your name dropped off, but will re-add it. The rally thread is gone. Thanks for your patience!
