The gas flow to your grill from the camper LP tanks may be regulated. If your grill has a regulator it will have to be removed. You cannot have two regulators in the line. Peace Dave

Grind those fasteners off and get some self drilling tec screws and fender washers for when you put it back together. As suggested cut a flap to inspect but be careful you don't cut into a tank. Peace Dave

Not all water heaters have a second switch located on the water heater. If at some point in time the electric was turned on and there was no water in the water heater the heating element may have burned out. Have you checked the breaker? Peace Dave
