Ericka, I just had a couple of adjusters come out to the house this week. They saw damage on the house and vehicles that I never picked up on, a lot of it.
So it might be a good idea to file a claim, there might be damage that you don't see.

To make the job a bit easier take the tension off the awning by pushing it up.
Also your awning material might have moved over in the track on the wall.
Measure awning fabric to edge of roller, both sides. It should be centered.

If you haven't already, the first thing I would recommend is that you check all electrical connections.
Check the power source at the wall and work toward and into the chair.

Hello RayBliss and welcome to this great forum.
There are a few aftermarket pin boxes that will help with chucking.
I have a FlexAir which provides relief from up and down as well as front to back jarring.
That's just my preference and I'm sure others will chime in with their preferences.

Have you checked all of the neutral (white) wires on the buss bar? There have been several people that found loose neutral wires after having intermittent power loss.

Your kinda right about the battery supplying all the 12 volt power but the converter is always monitoring and keeping the battery topped off.
Near your battery you should see a bank of 12 volt breakers. They are usually protected by red rubber boots. Most are...
I've never tried to run a wire in the ceiling because of either trusses or foam insulation possibly obstructing the run.
You might be better off going through the underbelly. I've done that and it's pretty easy..... kinda.

You are correct about venting the entire sewer system, but this can be avoided by forming a P-trap in your waste hose. Just a 4 inch dip in the hose will do it.

I would check the down limit switch. It might be stuck.
I would also check the wires on the switch itself as well as the fuse for that lift. Check the fuse with a meter.

Hydraulic slides normally open in order based on their weight.
Your Bighorn may have slide isolator valves located at the hydraulic pump. Sometimes they are marked.
If you see valves or valve you might try closing one off and then test the operation of the slides.
