Current Mounted TV versus an new TV Mount

That was my next move. I know the newer TV will weigh less than the current Legend because the weight of the newer ones is awesome. Thanks C&J

Current Mounted TV versus an new TV Mount

Trying to figure out what is behind the wall on my Oakmont 345RS. Right now there is a TV mount in the wall which uses 2 screws to attach mount to wall. Not sure what they are screwed in to. Is it a wooden vertical board or is it a metal vertical piece? The screws look to be wood screws but I...

    Sailun Truck Tires

Thought I would try and drop this doc in here. I have it in two forms, word and pdf. It's regarding how to read tires (in general), codes and what they mean. Also, Sailun sizes and specs. I figure if I trust them for my 15,000 5th wheel, I trust them for my truck.

2nd time failure on Onan 5.5 LP

Hello all - I have a 345RS Oakmont. I had a 5.5 Onan genny installed (dealer recommended size). Twice, i have fired it up and let it run for 5 mins or so, then turned on the front air, waited for it to cycle, blow cold air. Waited, emptied refridgerator, came back, front air still running, went...

    Replacing OEM fuel tank

I plan, once I am full time, to replace my OEM tank with a large one. I have found several that should just slip into place. I have heard that my fuel gauge needs to be "calibrated" to adjust to new volume. Is this a lengthy process or is it rather quick? C&J

    What generator to buy?

Hello All; I also have a Honda 3000is. I initially bought it in 2005 for a much shorter 5th wheel (25 foot) with 1 air conditioner and a gas refrigerator. It did a great job. The air conditioner was a small one. I graduated to the Oakmont and thought, well, we do boondock so why no keep the...

    Water Filter Question - Landmark

Hi ALL - has anyone taken the basement access panel off and put it on hinges so once you've cleared the way, just swing it open? I am thinking of doing a water filtration system and that is what I think I'll do. C&J

Fresh tank vent & low drain points

I have an Oakmont, there is a hot and cold drain point underneath the water heater, and then a single cold water drain behind the rear axle. I have no screens over small opening but i am not in an area that has that issue....yet. C&J Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk

Cheaping out on shower heads (in '17 Starcraft)??

I've heard a lot of good things about the Oxygenics shower head. From water saving to better water sprayer due to design. I did a search on YouTube (as I do for most product reviews) and found this one: ---> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Bs5qGdC0EA&t=323s The interesting part begins around...

    Suburban water heater.

Surprise of the century. At least for me. Pulled the fuse panel off the wall. Went to the wires that supported the water heater. LOOSE crimp. Yes, 3 weeks of troubleshooting. A poor crimp. I still can't believe it. While I was there I checked all the crimps and connects. Solid. Re-crimped the...

    Splendide Combo Unit 2100 XD

Thanks for the reply, in the Oakmont, it is in the bedroom corner. I havent eyeballed the path straight down but it is either in the basement or the front compartment. Front compartment would be bad, that has my batteries and Onan with a metal floor. Once I figure out the straightest route I'll...

    Laundry Closet

Very cool setup. I do like the single unit washer/dryer. I have read where the drying cycle is much longer than with the single dryer install. I like the idea of one touch, set it and forget it though. And you still have room in the closet to store and hang. Win win to me. I was wondering...

    Hydraulic Fluid or Battery issue

Okay, will take a paper towel out there now. My fluid is not red though. The reservoir tank I was referring to is this one. I also notice that there is a clear line impression on the tank and the level of the fluid is below that. I've looked at my Lippert manual but didn't see anything that...

    Hydraulic Fluid or Battery issue

Opened up my front cargo area. I was going to inspect the batteries and make sure the hydraulic fluids were okay. Here is what I found. It appears to be leakage from either the reservoir or battery case. I honestly can't see where its' from. The hoses don't appear or feel oily and I haven't...
