Water pump and over flow problems

The winterize position will pull water from the fresh water connection by the pump. So, yes you will still get water at the faucets. This position is designed to pull antifreeze from a bottle using a hose. It will fill the fresh tank from this position if the backflow preventer is bad in the...

    Need help leveling 5th Wheel

I'm thinking that since you don't have jacks in the middle the suspension is giving when the slides go out causes the un-level condition. You could get some screw type jacks to go in the middle to add support. The only way I know to level from side to side is with blocks under the tires.

    Refrigerator Dead!

I will second that on staying away from Samsung. Tech told me they have the most failures of any brand. His recommendation is Frigidaire/Electrolux. Also, Samsung has a standing recall on their icemaker In most models that have the icemaker in the top left of the double door model. That being...

From Google: A truck averaging 6 MPG can expect to go approximately 300 miles on one gallon of DEF. Q. How can an operator determine how much DEF they will need/use? A. DEF consumption will be approximately 2% of the diesel fuel consumed. Another way to consider it is that DEF will be consumed...

    Television mod

If your TV has an HDMI with a Audio Return Channel (ARC) then purchase a sound bar with the same capability. That way the TV and sound bar can talk to each other and you will only need one remote. Plus when you go to your audio options on the TV to choose the output source the sound bar will be...

    Awning support

Just my thoughts, it might cost less to replace the existing awning with an electric one so the DW can extend and retract at will versus repairing the fifth wheel after a wind gust rips the awning off the trailer. Seen it many, many times with awnings that were tied down. Get up in the AM to...

    BC brand sure is quiet

Same here, no issues in almost 2.5 years, with the exception of me forgetting to winterize it and freezing the whole trailer. I hope I am not jinxing myself but really absolutely no issues with the trailer itself. Had to change out the door control panel on the refrigerator last trip but that...

I could not get the nuts loose through the hole in the shower. I have a front bath in mine. I had to remove the door to the bathroom, remove the door frame attached to the wall. Its only held with 3 staples and the screws that hold the door hinges. Then I was able to carefully pull the wall...

Replacing Thetford 42072 Toilet with Dometic 320

MCTalley, when you changed your upstairs toilet in your old 3950, do you remember the hole to wall spacing? I ask because the Dometic 310 has a 10 inch spacing instead of the 11.5 like the 320.

    Plumbing Leak

What model Big Country do you have. I froze mine two weeks ago and am happy to say the Pex lines are pretty tough against freeze. But everything else, not so much.
