yes I also put a stabilizer under frame, just in front of front tires, makes a huge difference, takes the bounce out of suspension. But I lift mine about 3/4- 1 inch after the slide is out. take some weight off the tires. Not much weight but enought to notice the difference.

If it's leaning, it's better for water run off. I level a little higher on slide side before I unhook. can raise to up a bit if needed with stabilizers.

I've had trailers for 30 + yrs with no slide. This is the first trailer with one. I WILL never own another trailer WITHOUT a slide. makes a huge difference. for the extra weight is worth it in my opinion. Mine only open 16 inch but is 16 feet long. opens up the trailer living space a lot.

I cut a hole in side panel and made a frame (like a picture frame) and put 4 small screws in it. Located on side you look at when opening storage door. Now i just take out the screws reach in and turn the valves, without crawling in again. Works great.

I believe the HW tank is in front storage area, Drivers side. need to take the screws out of panel inside storage and valves are right there. Back of HW tank. my 31qbs is there and it's the same basic layout
