Our shower drains slow, has anyone found a good way to clean out the trap? I took the sink trap apart and cleaned it, but the shower is trap is glued and I don't want to go cutting into it. Don't need the troubles that come with that. Thanks

I have been dealing with Mike at Lippert and he never said anything about frame issues with the upgrade to 8k springs. Just that if I did Lippert only replaces like with like and the total cost would come out of my pocket. I know that there are a few people on here that have upgraded to 8k...

If you happen to be on a lot just take a look at the springs on the new units that have just traveled from the manufacture.

I wish I would have upgraded to the 8k springs and been done with it. I had to spend $400 to replace the the old ones with the new springs Lippert sent me and they don't look much better than the old ones.

I have a 2009 3670RL Just weighed it. It is 12,580 on the axles, pin weight is 2920lb that is total of 15500 lbs for the coach. if your truck weighs 8500lb and you are close to my weights then you will have a GCVW of 24000lbs.

The coach has a gross weight rating, my BH is 16,000. I know you do not want to exceed that as well you do not want to exceed the 14,000. But never gave the pin rating much thought, that is a very good question. You would think it would have to be 16000 lbs, my hitch in tv is rated for 16000lbs...

What the deal is Lippert says I can up 8k springs on but I have to pay for it. I wish they would of been straight with me in the first place, I would of just bought the 8k and been done with it. Now I have to get the 2nd springs replace, sure am glad they care about my wallet :rolleyes:.

cool, now that is how a shock is supposed to be mounted. Maybe you should send that idea to Lippert, cause they seem to be a little confused.

I would not call it ignorante, the roads out there are horrible and you as well as the rest of us spent alot of money on these units. Its alot of money for these suspension upgrades but I think it will save more money in the long run. I myself am putting the CP system on our BH.
